As moderator of the [email protected] mailing list I get all the mails
of unsubscribed senders to decide if they should be allowed to reach the
list (some valuable mails - much more spam...)
Whenever I allow a mail to be presented at the list (just a simple reply
to the mail I get from the mail server), I send another mail to the
sender, telling about the mailing list and why/how to subscribe.
Most of the people are interested in subscribing - but that's a
different audience.
