come on Malte...

he's asking for some information about "I Accessible 2" support within OpenOffice.org. He's currently using the open source based screen reader from http://www.nvda-project.org/

The current Ia2 status can be accessed from OOo Wiki at http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Accessibility/IAccessible2_support

Looking at the status I cannot say anything about "when" because the current implementation doesn't seem to be compatible to current versions of OpenOffice.org. I don't know who's working on this actively.

Really helpful regarding information about accessibility (a11y) topics is the following Wiki page: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Accessibility

You think some "deb" (assuming that means debutant==beginner) would be
able to answer? Or would actually consider answering if you start your
question this way?

Hello, open office debs.

Can you please tell me when are we getting Ia2 support in open office?

I use nvda as my screenreader and I was told that Ia2 support would be added to open office before the end of the year.

Kind regards, Joost
