Hi Kevin, then sorry for my reaction. I only did read the first line and thought WTF?! I saw too many mails on different lists and forums in the last weeks where people complained about some stuff and used the wrong wording, very often resulting in something that open source would suck because nobody would implement the thing they want to have. Of course I understand that IA2 is important for OOo. So to finally answer your initial question: We can't say/promise when exactly IA2 support will be in OOo. IBM promised to contribute their implementation (they did it for Lotus Symphony, which is based on OOo), so we are on hold, and didn't start to implement it on our own. http://ui.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=accessibility&msgNo=107 http://blogs.sun.com/malte/entry/iaccessible2_or_ibm_to_contribute I pinged them some weeks ago, and I am quite confident that we really we get something soon, but probably not this year anymore. When they deliver, we will help them to integrate it into OOo asap. Best regards, Malte.
