Dear Mr. Holtzman: Ms. Hanley and others from time to time here may have their faults. In point of fact, like everybody so have I had in my time, many, many, especially having come from the subjugation of a bad childhood.
However: "2 Wrongs do not make a right!" Rhetorically: Is it not equally obvious to all here that your "right" remark has, in fact its own mixture of right and wrong? Your depiction of bitterness inculcated in the technicalities can only precipitate more bitterness, notwithstanding all the mistakes of others. "Vires aquirit sinistrum" This is emotionally negatively self-perpetuating, as would express those Latin words. This, (the ubiquitous law of opposites being also eternal) is the antithesis of "Vires aquirit eundo" (It gains strength in going on.) which is a motto used officially by at least one school I know of. Since this list is public, I assume you have seen my previous posts in regard to the interpersonal issues our group is currently suffering. It takes no genius to see where this is going, so it is logical to expect that anyone of the likely tens of thousands here understand, albeit sometimes tacitly. One more: However, at the same time, in all fairness, let it be understood here by all that the intent here is not to put you or anyone down or condescend. That would be no better of me (or whomever it might ever be) that your situation. The adage of 2 wrongs reapplies at many levels. Rather let all of our large numbers understand tacitly lest any other show a propensity to make the same faux-pas. Hence this goes far beyond you and me put together. Let us all put an end to this kind of handling of whatever "inappropriados" may occur here, lest our handling of the issues handle all of us circumstantially with equal "inappropriado". In my last post, I mentioned the need for a further degree of "machine moderation" and "sticky notes". Let us let those to whom it rightly imports to moderate at the technical level do what accrues to them, whomever they may be, as that will lighten the moderative load that is befalling all of us so we can concentrate on the main issue here, yet without neglecting the negative self -perpetuating concern of the present.
