Years ago, I read where if you put a cerain combination of 0's and 1's
at the beginning of your contacts list it cannot be pirated or used for
spam as the computer doesn't recognize it. I know I did it and, back
then there wasn't such a problem of spamming, I don't know if it really
worked. Can you tell me if this is true and what would be the exact
combination of those numbers.

You are correct in that this has nothing to do with Open Office. I've been using personal computers since 1983 and have never heard of such a procedure.
