Folks, I have tried to install the HWE kernel but my servers won't boot afterwards. Does anybody have a tip to get these correctly installed ?
I have currently Ubuntu 14.04.02 and have installed the HWE drivers with apt-get install linux-image-hwe-generic-trusty The kernel installs but the servers don't boot correctly anymore. Unfortunately I don't have console access to these devices and don't know exactly what the problem is. The are hardware cloud servers with no console access. The only thing I have is a rescue image that boots via PXE. So I can change stuff, but won't see the actual boot process. Any tip is appreciated.
