Hi Ben, OAM(Operations, Administration and Maintenance) have the functionality of CFM and y.1731 features. Found that CFM feature is already implemented in OVS and I feel that it would be good to add Performance management related feature to it, So that OVS will contains complete OAM functionality. We are analyzing the same that how we can add y.1731 feature also into OVS.
Could you suggest that, Is it Ok to add the feature to OVS or is it implemented already to achieve the feature to measure performance. Based on your opinion we can make a plan to implement it. Main tasks are as below, 1. Loss measurement 2. Synthetic loss measurement 3. Delay measurement 4. One-way delay measurement 5. Alarm Indication Please let me know if you need any details. It would be easier to say if you could be more specific about what you plan to implement. =====-----=====-----===== Notice: The information contained in this e-mail message and/or attachments to it may contain confidential or privileged information.
