I remember something that was discussed at the last ppig meeting, but I
have forgotten the reference that was made : the number of programming
languages that a programmer has used is a better indication of programming
'ability' than the number of years spent programming.  I vaguely recollect
Pennington being mentioned, but I am not sure about the title of the
paper... Also are there any other references that specifically relate to
this?
