I hope this doesn't seem critical; I'm just acting as "devil's advocate"
(horrible term).

If the only ones who gain pass marks are the ones who "have learnt" in a
previous course, doesn't this mean you aren't teaching anyone? The only ones
passing are the ones taught by someone else!

We aim to DELIVER the whole syllabus, but many fail to LEARN even the
basics. Wouldn't it be better to spend more time on the basics, so at least
they have learned something?
