This was a project/methodology for generating fonts according to various
rules.  The generated glyphs tended to be angular and somewhat
unfriendly (to my eye at least).  The whole thing struck me as an exercise
in a mathematical idea, with no interest in human preferences (apart from
actually doing the project).
