You might be interested in the Workshop on Cognitive Models of
Programming-like Activity that took place at the CHI conference
last year. Several of the participants have had close involvement
with PPIG.

The Keyword Index has only been active three years. There was a 
lot more research into cognitive models about 10 years ago, but 
it was in a lull when I created the index. Revival of interest 
meant that I just added that entry recently.
