Lets not forget the fact that software development is one of the few professional activities where the most junior and inexperienced staff get to write most of the important parts of the product that the customer actually uses.
Is that true in general, or only in certain types of businesses? Is it still true now? I thought the idea that coding is for low-skilled workers was not generally accepted anymore. In the past, software design and coding were completely separate, but now both are often done by the same person. Having the least experienced workers do all of this would not make sense.
