Here is a sample Container XML configuration that I'm planning to support in
beta 20:

<container>
    <!-- Server connectors -->
    <server address="123.456.789" protocol="HTTP"/>
    <server protocol="SMTP"/>

    <!-- Virtual hosts -->
    <virtualHost addresses="*" ports="80, 8888" protocols="HTTP, HTTPS"/>

It's more normal to have a list of attribute values space separated,
rather than comma separated?

Just to speak up for XML.
As was said, it can be validated to get rid of silly typo's.
I think it far more robust in general than plain text config info.
