A major documentation effort has been underway, focused on the 1.1 release, at wiki.restlet.org. Eventually this will emerge book-quality Restlet documentation. Contributions are welcome, but contributors must apply for editing privileges and submit a contributors agreement to protect the license of the generated work.
I'd encourage you to join this effort and help expand the outline (and content) to include these areas where you feel they are missing!
