Thanks for the support guys :-) Alex hit a blocking bug, actually a
regression introduced in 1.1 M5. I can understand the pain... this
is the risk with unstable software. He just had bad luck.
One more voice of support for the Restlet framework, and some kudos
to Jerome, Thierry, and the entire community:
After many months, we just this week migrated our 1.0.x app (fairly
vanilla, but nonetheless 15K source lines of code) to version 1.1
(2008-09-17 snapshot of RC1).
Despite both significant enhancements and many points of design
cleanup in 1.1, the migration required changing just 31 lines of
code, with many of those updated via simple search-and-replace
changes to multiple lines. In addition, every deprecation and
security warning gave thoroughly clear directions about what needed
to be updated.
