Hi Chen, that's a good news!! Regarding the choice of XStream vs Jackson, XStream support object serialization with both json and xml formats, whereas Jackson supports only (but it does well also!) json. So, as I said before, we expected a fix of the XStream library, but we are more pessimistic.
As you point out, I will change the sample application. It let people think that the Xstream extension is part of the GAE edition of Restlet which it is not, and introduces confusion. Thanks.
