Hi Fabian, WebDAV support would be nice to have, but we (Noelios Technologies) are not planning to drive this for 2.1 at this point.
However, we would be happy to support you (and others) willing to contribute on this front. I'm willing to contribute my code, but it has lots of stuff specific to my system. Maybe we could work together on the specification of the needed interfaces to make WebDAV "verbs" (PROPFIND, LOCK, UNLOCK, etc.) support as easy as current HTTP "verbs" (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, HEAD...) support.
