Yes Stephan, it is all on localhost. The perplexing issue is what was noted in
http://wiki.restlet.org/docs_2.0/13-restlet/333-restlet/338-restlet.html about this only happening in an applet running in "sandbox" environment. I can run my applet from signed jars in a browser but not in Eclipse. I'm using Eclipses' default Applet viewer which it says is sun.applet.AppletViewer. Thanks for the idea, but I don't think that is the issue.
