Considering you're broadcasting at 34.99 dB and the legal limit is 30db (see http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/cb21ag/acau01/auappb.htm#25003 and http://radiolabs.com/stations/wifi_calc.html), I think that you should probably not go with a higher gain antenna. Your neighbors would probably appreciate it as well :-}.
You actually might want to look at a 2 dBi Omni for that mast, just to avoid the possibility of a visit from the Feds.
