check out the HAARP page on wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Frequency_Active_Auroral_Research_Program this is an experimental research project which shoots high power [up to one Mw] upwards into the atmosphere at frequencies from very low [0.1 Hz] to the AM radio band [150 Khz]. its been going since 1990 and is accused of all sorts of stuff. any opinions or knowledge of HAARP's benefits / harms/ goals etc ??? -david
