Last week, I was thinking about putting together a Atom based pfSense machine. It was a hard call, because I would have rather a Soekris device, but I don't think there is any model that supports having a PCI card in place.
Does using a DSL card in place of the stock DSL modem give any real benefit, or should I just skip that all together and use the crap that the phone company gives and call it a day. What is the real benefit of using a DSL card (Like the Sangoma, D-Link or 3Com card)? And I guess it am really wondering if it is going to play nicely with my pfsense system.
