Soekris boards are so yesterday.  Try pcengines.ch's Alix boards.  The
Alix 1 has a full sized PCI slot.  There are numerous other models
with varying numbers of miniPCI slots and ethernet ports.

You aren't stuck with the DSL modem the phone company gives you.
We've had good reliability with the brand of DSL modems that Integra
Telecom uses up here in Portland, the Zhone/Paradyne.  They are about
$40 if you shop around a little.
