Okay. I didn't know all that about zinc, etc. Thanks for all the advice! Unfortunately right now I have $0 to pay for a bike part. I can't even pay my rent right now, until I save up some money!
It looks like one could remove the one arm from the crank and replace it, if I had the part, but I don't have the part or the tools and I don't know how to do that myself. I would welcome any help with that! I wonder about the bike co-op on Main Street nearby Spaghetti Warehouse. I've never been there but maybe I should seek them out for free parts. Thanks for offering the bike, Devin! I don't care what color it is. I need a bike to get around! I'll take anything you can spare. :) I'll be at syn/hak tomorrow (Saturday, March 30) between 12 and 5, probably the whole time, but I will probably leave after 4:30 or so. Thanks again, everyone! - Ted On Fri, Mar 29, 2013 at 7:07 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > On Mar 29, 2013 6:14 PM, "a l" > <[email protected]<http://us.mc1615.mail.yahoo.com/mc/[email protected]>> > wrote: > > The pedal crank snapped in half.
