Dear " G":

Anthony Margida & I would like to meet with you to discuss how the Akron
Global Business Accelerator may be able to help SYN/HAK.

Perhaps we can meet here at the Accelerator, or over coffee somewhere
convenient.

Please let me know your availability.

Best regards,

Terry Martell

Beth/Carlton or Hacker Scout-(ers?):

Start thinking about whether you'd like to use meetup.com - I believe
scheduling meetups there would be a great start to reach out to the
community- you can either schedule meetups for everything hacker scouts
within the synhak meetup group, or start a new meetup.com group altogether
on our account - whatever works.

When you all schedule a time to meet, I'll try to meet with you all to see
if we can set this up together - I can assign co-organizers on meetup for
convenience too.

Having a well thought out description for the about pages on meetup.com is
usually great first step.

And ofcourse, if you have a desire to record intro videos to be used on
synhak's youtube channel, I can help record them - just schedule it in
advance.

Regards,

G

Well, I am going to read about both of those. I just wanted to reply sooner
rather than later. From what I understand so far, the Hacker Scouts we are
doing is internal. However, if possible, I am wondering if we could look
into what these orgs are doing as well.

To everyone who has been thinking about Hacker Scouts and wants to
participate: I think we should have a meeting in the near future so we can
get together, face to face, and talk about our visions and what we want to
accomplish. I became a member last night, as soon as my dues are paid, I
will begin reaching into the community and seeing what we will be allowed to
do, who we can advertise this to, how we can advertise it, etc. I will talk
to Torrie today about when we would be able to hold a meeting since I can't
remember what else is going on the next two weeks at SYN/HAK. I am sure we
will be able to use the space as our meeting place. Let me know what you
think about this so far! Thanks! -Beth

Sorry I get the discussion list sent to me in a digest so I didn't see this
until now. I had another commitment last night so I would not have been
able to make it anyways though.

I do have one question though are we talking about this
http://hacker-scouts.org/node/40 or an internally developed program?

One last thing I that I know there is a program in the area called
Destination Imagination ( http://www.destinationimagination.org/). I'm
curious what the gap between the two programs would be.
