Dennis,

Thanks for sharing your press links; allowed me to learn more about your
project.

I'm sharing this with SYN/HAK's discuss lis, Ken from Tiny Circuits and
Jason from Mechanimals.

I'm not a SolidWorks guy, but I'm sure after reading the entire mail thread
some folks adept in SolidWorks (or 3D modeling) might have something to
discuss with you, either on a volunteer basis or contract.

If you'd like to meet some of these folks, head down to Akron Mini-Maker
Faire <http://makerfaireakron.akronlibrary.org/> at the Akron Main Library
this afternoon (yes, this afternoon) between 1pm-4pm.

I know Ken and Jason Bannister both will be in attendance (I don't know if
they use SolidWorks though, even if not they might know folks that do 3D
modeling).

Also, to learn more about SYN/HAK visit our website synhak.org or start
here: http://gsvolt.wordpress.com/synhak/

Also, also, learn about Shapeways.com since after your model is made, they
can cast it in various materials and ship it to your colleagues at SPI.

All,

Please read this email thread (and links within) at your convenience.
Dennis/Sam could use some serious help with SolidWorks (or 3D print
friendly) modeling and are actively pursuing talent for modeling their
medical device. They get my support because like Ken, they wish to
manufacture the said medical device here in Akron, Ohio.

Good luck to Sam and you.

Regards,

G
