I personally would love to see forums where we could all post and have a thread
for projects we are working on

Yeah, the subreddit exists. Nothing really gets posted to it due to its
low subscriber count.
We usually post stuff to /r/Akron and /r/Cleveland rather than to the
subreddit itself. However, if you really value your precious interweb
points, feel free to post something there and ask for up-phongs to the
negative x-axis. At least I'll upvote you.
