Different people, different sense of humor. If somebody had a complaint or a concern, I am disappointed that they did not contact me directly. My primary email address is always displayed and I am open to constructive criticism and reasonable suggestions.
It is a very long stretch of imagination to think that I have portrayed women of any age in a negative or derogatory or disparaging way in any of my email messages. Of course, I understand that the written word is subject to different interpretations by different people and some may have understood the intent or focus of the humor. To anybody who feels offended, rest assured that I feel no guilt, no shame, and I won't be issuing or writing an apology. To avoid any more bruised positions of ego, etiquette and/or morality by a very few SH members and readers, I will make an effort to express myself in a different manner, perhaps by eliminating all references to humans or their activities in my future messages. Have a day!
