On the subject of broken computer crap and the grant, I'm currently writing a proposal to purchase the parts to refurbish the nicest of the donated equipment in order to re-donate them to other hackerspaces and replace old equipment at space. I'll soon be asking NOC for what hardware our current infrastructure is using so I can compare it to what we have in donated equipment. I'm still about a month away from proposing it though. just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone was thinking of something similar.
