I have a slight preference to the mailing lists as there are already handy email apps out there that allow people to easily keep up to date. That said, if others want to invest the energy keeping spam bots out and software up to date I say go for it. We can always migrate back. This would allow for easier project sharing too. How will this affect our expenses/band width usage.
Let's just be sure to continue mailing out minutes and proposals.
