I'm with Teddy for the most part, eclipse simply rawks. Its CVS and SVN support built into your IDE are uber sweet and cfeclipse is really coming along and even has RDS plugins now from Adobe. Only real draw back is FTP support. I like how DW has easy upload via FTP on a per file basis. I rarely use the 'design' view of DW, the code view is just fine.
Now...add some other techs to the mix...use Eclipse for sure. Develop your Flex mxml code, your CFcode, your Java code, your xml, your Ant scripts, your ActionScript, etc... all in one IDE. nice. DK On 6/28/06, Dusty Hale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I still use homesite to build CF apps in CF 7 or any version. If you are looking for the latest editors, I would think you would probably want to use Dreamweaver 8 or Homesite+. Both come with Studio 8. Dreamweaver would be better if you need a "design view". If you always work in code view, you might like homesite+ better.
