There really wouldn't be a cf solution per se since you are trying to find the clients local time. You probably be better suited to do a javascript code that runs on the client browser and simply does a lookup for the local time. This should help.. http://www.tizag.com/javascriptT/javascriptdate.php John [EMAIL PROTECTED]
_____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, June 02, 2007 5:33 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ACFUG Discuss] Browser time detection I am looking for a CF solution to detect the local time of the incoming browser request. I have a need in my app to display different elements on the page based on the time of the user/browser. Such as "Good Morning" if the site visitor is visiting the site in the AM, "Good evening" in the PM, etc. I've Googled myselft to death and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of a CF_custom tag, or a "how to" Thanks, Dan Kaufman <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] "What is the distance between the eyes and the soul?"
