Do you possibly have more than one version of Access running? Is CF opening the file in it's native program and version? I seem to remember getting a similar message when ever opening an access file in an older version than the file was created in.

If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later.". I've verified that there is no other users opening the file or working with the file in any way when this occurs. It does appear that a record locking file is created when the user opens the file through the app. They are able to go directly to Access and open the file successfully without the message, so it appears that the issue is the way that I'm opening the file through CF - I'm just using a cflocation to open the file. Has anyone experienced this issue and know how to open the file without getting this message? Thanks for in advance for the help. Craig Nassal Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta 1000 Peachtree St. N.E.
