here's a thought, are you using the standard "Paste" tool or the "Paste from
Word" tool on FCK.

Thanks,

I'll try playing with the configuration but the problem is that it takes
text and actually resizes it sometimes. I can take copy/paste from Word
where it's a document all in one font face/color/size and I randomly get
some of the text resized. The larger the document the more likely it is to
happen. Then when I try to resize the text it seems like the on option in
text size that should 'fix' the issue doesn't do anything but I can resize
the text to the size larger or smaller.

Has anyone else ever had this issue?

And yes, I'm talking about an embedded text editor for the end user to use
when inserting formatted text into a form.

The thing is FCKeditor is one of the best ones out there right now. That's
the reason why you see Oracle and Adobe using it.

I believe you can set the default fonts and sizing, then you can simply turn
off those tools on the editor so no can play around with them. There's a lot
of configuration options under the covers with FCK. It's just a matter of
customizing it for your needs.

I would point you to a link, but the FCK wiki is currently down. The
developers are also available for support such as this.
http://www.fckeditor.net/support <http://www.fckeditor.net/support>

Fairly reasonable pricing if you ask me, specially for the business world.

Hope this helps,

John

Font issues. The HR department cuts and pastes from Word docs into it and
uploads them and then when called from my app the font size gets screwy.
Then when I try to go in and correct it, the small, x-small, xx-small can't
correct it. It's either too large or too small. It's becoming more and
more of an issue as I see it popping up more and more.

Any suggestions on a good text editor to use in my apps. I've been using
FCKeditor but it leaves a something to be desired, and seems like even more
to be desired the more I use it.
