Thanks, Ajas.

I do realize it seemed a possibly simple problem at first, but as the many
comments have shown, there are many possible explanations, but they do all
center on the matter of client variables.

Indeed, I was tempted to write more yesterday to give you some direction,
and in fact I started to, but it become so much that it prompted me to write
a blog entry instead, that I was going to point you to. :-) I've still not
finished it, and in fact may break it into parts.

This kind of proves my point: some problems have many intertwining facets,
and the solution may lie in features or configuration options, in CF or the
Database, some of which may have been done intentionally or may have been
left at their defaults. Pulling together all those facets and connecting the
dots of the diagnostic info available (once you find it) is the challenge I
refer to. When someone with experience solving such problems looks at it,
with you, it may take only a matter of minutes to identify and resolve
(sometimes more, but not usually). I do appreciate your saying you may bring
me on to help. Hope you sort it out, either way.

Charlie, I agree with what you mentioned and you are always there in the
list of GOTO man. Its just that when I started looking into this, it didnt
seem to be this big of a challenge. ;-)

Right now we have our DB team look at the actual db causing issue. If we
dont figure it out, expect a call from me. :-)

Thanks guys,
