I'm trying to use a barcode font (Free 3 of 9 Extended) to make a PDF with
cfdocument. I've placed the font in a directory that the cf server can read
and gone into the Font Management section of the administrator to register it.
When I try to browse to the file, I just get a black box in Firefox and a
missing applet message in IE. The server is running on Solaris 10 and has a
large amount of "stuff" there, so I thought it might just be taking a really
long time to populate the tree.
My next attempt was to just type the path to the font in the text field and
then click the Add button. This did register the font, but the Font Family,
Font Face, and Postscript Name are all "New". When I try to use the either
name ("New" or "FRE3OF9X" which is the font file name) I just get the default
font.
Does the server need to be restarted or is there some other step I'm missing?
