I know of no debugging Ant tasks. Plenty on building flex apps wiht Ant though are about. You can call mxmlc.exe or .jar from Ant or use the Adobe supplied flex tasks located on http://labs.adobe.com.
trace() of course works regardless of what IDE you use :) Again I'll ask...anyone up for hearing about building Flex apps with Ant?
