If you are not interested in going the whole way with a strict class
sync with a cfc, you can simply pass your parameters as an untyped
object - it will get converted to a struct on the CF side:
Flex:
var dataObj:Object = new Object();
dataObj.name = "Bob";
dataObj.address = "123 Pine";
myCFCRemoteObject.someFunction({personInfo:dataObj});
CF:
<cffunction name="someFunction" ....>
<cfargument name="personInfo" type="struct" required="yes">
<cfset NAME = personInfo.name>
For more complete example passing multiple arguments, there are a ton
of them out there.
