You can configure Charles to monitor Windows traffic or Browser Traffic. Check out "Proxy > Windows Proxy" I think. Also check "Proxy > Proxy Settings > Windows". I didn't crank up an AIR app to confirm, but I know I have used Charles before to debug AIR apps.
