When you saving the dates use UAT date time, this way it is always going
to be the same for all time zones.

Thank you

Subject: [AFFUG Discuss] Dates

This may be a dumb question, but I'm stuck so I need to ask. I'm have a
tough time with dates. A customer in California enters a DOB of
2/5/1985
and saves (AMF app using Granite) which goes into the db with actual
data of
2-5-1985 00:00:00. Now a customer in Georgia opens the same record and
the
DOB is 2/4/1985. I understand that the timezones on the clients are
different. I'm looking for any advice on solving this without storing
as
text.

Thanks,
Dale
