I have a situation where I need to prevent the user from interacting with my application until an asynchronous call to some business logic returns.
I was thinking of thinking of throwing up a small modal window with a throbber to prevent the user from clicking anything. Am I thinking about this wrong? And is there a design pattern I should be using to handle this situation?
