We have successfully scraped the grid, dropping it into an HTML table, and then pushing that string to the clipboard. Add an Alert box acknowledgement, and you are ready to go. That <table> format can be successfully pasted into excel w/no problem. Not as elegant as creating a full .xls file, but much easier.
