But the book I've found most helpful is O'Reilly's Essential ActionScript 3.0. The first part of the book is, in a way, too elementary for you. It contains a lot of stuff that (in fact) is a pretty good introduction to programming in general. But since you're concerned about moving from C/C++, even the elementary stuff might be useful, because it deals a lot in basic AS syntax while explaining (for instance) what an array is. Past the intro stuff, it's proven extremely valuable to me. It's really well-written and accessible. As far as Adobe's LiveDocs go, I just keep the Language Reference open because I can never remember all the methods and properties of the classes. -- Thanks, Tom Tom McNeer MediumCool http://www.mediumcool.com 1735 Johnson Road NE Atlanta, GA 30306 404.589.0560
