The key part is..
"we are planning to contribute the Flex SDK to an open source foundation
in the same way we contributed PhoneGap to the Apache Foundation when we
acquired Nitobi"
That's all we know at this point. I thought Adobe had enough craziness
for one week, but I guess they had one more surprise to throw out there.
The possible foundation to take over is called Spoon and you can read
