Completely agree. Took me a LONG time before I ventured into bug tracker
territory, and was bloody terrified when I did.... I don't think I am alone.

As I have said, we need to accept that many people WILL do more, but
need a hand and some positive encouragement. I have received lots of
comments from people via email and IRC who have essentially said that
they weren't that confident and scared of doing more. They just needed a
leg up.

Yup.


Good 'out of the box' thinking - we have to try everything and see what
sticks and works.

Certainly recent efforts to encourage people has reaped dividends. We
need to keep the pressure up.
