I've been thinking about how to get you started. Getting the
hardware ready for production will take almost certainly longer than
beating the software into shape (it doesn't have to be ready at
production time - atben is firmware-less and atusb is easily
field-upgraded via DFU), that's why I'll supply the hardware side
first.

I have a bunch of old cards that I could send to you immediately,
but they come with a few quirks:

- all: use the AT86RF230 and not the AT86RF231, so there are many
small differences, including the lack of goodies like protection
of received frames against overwriting and the high-speed mode,
see the "231 only" comments in

http://projects.qi-hardware.com/index.php/p/ben-wpan/source/tree/master/atusb/fw/include/at86rf230.h

- all: may have antenna tuning problems, resulting in maybe having
half the range or even less

- atben: try to reuse the Ben's clock instead of having their own
crystal. This changes how the interface is set up, some of the
register settings, and most of all, cause a poor signal-to-noise
  ratio.

- atben: don't have the SLP_TR signal connected, which again affects
  some driver operations.

With so many subtle differences, I'm afraid that these critters would
be more troublesome than useful. But if everything goes well this
weekend, then I hope it shouldn't be much longer until I have
something I can send you.

Here are all the (working) boards I've made so far, including the
two final "good" ones:

Heh, I have to watch my English :-) I think I already lost when I
attempted to verb the technical term "layout."
