I know :-) But you still need a unique IP address in each Ben. The approach I've outlined is one easy way without messing with DHCP and such. Of course, you could also operate them standalone. Then you don't need to worry about USB networking at all. But as I said, you don't really need all this for a good while. Do the first 100 boards one at a time yourself. Maybe train some student or two, or other cheap worker(s), for the next 1000. If you have a total of ~250 boards (atben and atusb), flashing and testing should take maybe half a day, possibly less. If you make the remaining 2 x 400 boards, it's about one a day for two people. Then you have a few weeks to contemplate how to do the next few thousand units. I.e., there's no urgency to optimize this :-) What's important is to have a reliable testing process. You don't want defective boards to pass by mistake, not do you want to lose time on perfectly good boards that a reported as broken. > gotcha!!! http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,55245.0.html It's possible, just not very convenient. - Werner _______________________________________________ Qi Hardware Discussion List Mail to list (members only): [email protected] Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/mailman/listinfo/discussion
