There's an issue with mpd and uclibc: errno in uclibc is not threadsafe, and MPD hits this bug Here's bug report: https://bugs.busybox.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2089 I'm not sure what's uclibc version in openwrt images for nanonote, so that's only a guess.
