So from what I'm hearing, it would be well worth it to wait for a MilkyMist based Nanonote. Is that even planned or possilbe? I know MM takes almost no power. Currently, are there any IC's of the MM? or is everything still FPGA?

There is no need for that either, we have our own Milkymist SoC.
Ingenic has since signed some license with MIPS Inc.
