Hey dudes :), I just write to calm down my partner Victor somewhat in charge about commercial, public relations, strategical marketing, company brand image and whatever name you want to put on related on this kind stuff, of Tuxbrain, Really I don't know what to say, if you dig in the mailing list NN pricing has arise time to time. The production costs in the NN had been published, I also think I have published the prices sharism sells it to me, the shipping costs, the taxes I have to pay, so if you have some interest, anyone can know exactly my profit, well it can vary due Euro/dollar fluctuations and the batch amount due shipping but it fluctuates about 1 or 2 Euros. Don't make maths, is easy I earn about 9 to 11 Euros by NN sold,
I'm not counting the faulty exchanges due is some what a kind of cost shared with tuxbrain/sharism ,due the shipping costs it takes . and also the time invested in solve custom bureaucracy, shipping mistakes etc etc, sticker and flashing the Nanowar edition...., I have also not change this selling price since NN first unit sold (luckily for me, sharism either) some years ago now , so money value has decreased so the same amount of money is less money but I don't care also about this. so let's be optimistic and let's say Tuxbrain earns about 8 euros on each NN selled. Now lets multiply by the amount of NN selled last 30 days.... 10 units. (.....) This will be my last time talking about NN price, with or without partner pressures (Victor this is for you :P), with or without flame wars about 1$=1€ evil policies from l avaricious European reseller(yes include Tuxbrain here, from the beginning we know NN was easy money bwuahaahahahaah) , with or without "competitors" selling cheaper than me , WTF , if any one wants to give them for free is also ok! as any product out there the more the people see and ear about it the more they buy, we have about 7.000.000.000 people that doesn't have a NN yet, market is far from saturated :P I know how much a NN cost to be produced at the volume we are moving , you want a cheaper NN? Then buy me a thousand , not enough cheaper? buy me ten thousand by month. >From here I will happily ignore any more comment about NN pricing. Of course I will continue reading all the other posts, I'm silent but still there.
