Yes.

Just gunzip the image. Assume it is pfSense-0.84-pc.img,

mdconfig -a -t vnode -f pfSense-0.84-pc.img
mount /dev/md0s4a /mnt/cf

Grub is in /mnt/cf/boot/grub.
